Get The Look: Emma Stone at the 2015 Golden Globes
Our Director of Makeup Artistry, Kelli J Bartlett, shares how to get Emma Stone’s cool cateye and hot pout.
For Stone’s soft, smudgy cat eye, start by rimming the eyes in a black eyeliner pencil, creating an elongated cat eye shape. Use a pencil shaped smudging brush to finesse the shape– it should extend slightly past your outer lashline. Next, press a shimmery navy shadow over the liner (keep it tight to the lashline) and add a pop of silver in the inner corners of the eye to create dimension. Apply false lashes only to the outer corner of the eye (a strip lash cut in half, or individual lashes applied to the outer third of the eye). For the lips, achieve balance by sheering out your matte fuchsia lipstick with a little vaseline to create a raspberry lip balm.
To recreate Emma’s natural porcelain perfection, skip the bronzer and add dimension by highlighting the skin with a shimmering liquid (even vaseline will do!). Apply to the tops of cheekbones, for a radiant finish. Pop on a pinch of pink blush to the apples of cheeks and the look is complete!
