Get The Look: Flawless Cleavage like Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian’s newly blonde ‘do might have been the star of her Paris Fashion Week appearance, but her impressive and oft-displayed cleavage certainly deserves an honorable mention. Kimmy went for a number of nearly nude looks this week—from her laced-up Givenchy jumpsuit at Tisci’s show to the blush mesh getup (with almost nothing underneath) at Lanvin—and killed it every time. Her chest is so shiny! So glowy! So buoyant! How does she do it?!
When it comes to the flawless factor of Kim’s chest, Kelli Bartlett, Glamsquad’s Director of Makeup Artistry, says giving your bod regular TLC in advance is key: “Any kind of daily skincare routine you have for your face, you should also be applying daily to your décolletage. Prep starts at night when you should cleanse, tone, and moisturize,” she explains. “Cleanse with Dr. Macrene 37 Actives, tone with Biologique Recharce p50w using a cotton pad to gently press the solution into the skin. Follow with Dr Macrene 37 Actives Cream for Neck and Décolletage.”
Then, the night before you plan to take those babies out for a spin, Bartlett advises a little extra something to tone, tighten, and revitalize the skin: “The night before a big event, apply a moisture mask to boost radiance even more than usual. I like the Biologique Recherché Masque Biologique Féérie,” she says, which “Hydrates the top layers of the epidermis, refreshes and soothes the skin.”
To get that je ne sais quoi magic that Kim has going on, Bartlett says makeup is key: “To create that wow factor before an event or red carpet, use Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body, applying it to the neck, chest, clavicle, shoulders, and down the center of the arms,” she says. “ Follow with Charlotte Tilbury’s FilmStar Bronze and Glow, using only the highlighter side on the tops of clavicles to create dimension. This works particularly well for tanned skin.”
If you want a more subtle décolletage look (why??) or if you have fairer skin, Bartlett recommends Urban Decay Body Beauty Balm, which adds more depth to the skin thanks to its warmer champagne tone. Another product she loves? Prtty Peaushun, which she says “comes in a range of colors and bounces light off the skin beautifully.” Yaaass.
The final touches come courtesy of one of the most profound discoveries on earth: contouring. “To contour your clavicle, grab a small brush and a bronzer and highlighter combo, like Charlotte Tilbury’s FilmStar Bronze and Glow. To make your chest concave, dust the bronzer underneath the clavicle and collar bone, and from shoulder to sternum. Sweep the highlighter on the tops of the bones to give dimension, focusing also on the tops of chest and between breasts.”
Et voilà! Cleavage magnifique à la Kim Kardashian.
