Celebrating Our 5th Birthday!
On a chilly January morning in 2013, we hosted an intimate editor event on the rooftop terrace of The Gramercy Park Hotel to introduce Glamsquad, the new on-demand app-based service that would revolutionize your beauty routine!
Getting ready just got a whole lot easier! We had just launched our on-the-go blowout business in NYC and editors across 40 major beauty outlets, from Allure to Vogue, arrived to get a VIP introduction to the Glamsquad experience with an overview of the app and how it worked followed by a mini braid & wave bar! The response was overwhelming and a flurry of positive press brought this on-demand dream to reality.
Five years and 600 thousand appointments later, we’ve added makeup and nails services to our repertoire and expanded to six major cities, LA, Miami, DC, Boston and San Francisco/Bay Area, plus a partnership with CVS and the launch of our first hair care line.
