How do I book?
Download our app here and book your hair, makeup and/or nails (currently available in NYC & LA only) services in as little as 90 minutes (2 hours for L.A. and Miami) before your desired appointment time or up to 8 weeks in advance. If you do not have an iPhone, you can book via our website by clicking on Book Now.
Can I book GLAMSQUAD even if I don't have an iPhone?
If you do not have an iPhone, you can book via our website by clicking Book Now. You can also contact our client experience team directly by calling 844-695-4526 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your (a) name, (b) service (c) address (including apartment number, cross street, parking details and any special directions), (d) phone number, (e) time and date of the requested appointment.
How long is the appointment?
All of our services include a consultation at the beginning of the appointment. Appointment length differs depending on the service. A blowout takes up to 45 minutes, depending on hair length and texture. Braids, which also include a blowout, take 45 minutes to an hour and updos take up to one hour. A makeup application appointment is one hour. A manicure takes 45 minutes, a pedicure takes 60 minutes and a manicure/pedicure takes 90 minutes (nails services currently available in NYC & LA only).
How do I prepare for my appointment?
For a blowout or braid, we request you have “Wet Hair, In The Chair.” This means you should wash your hair 10-15 minutes prior to the appointment so your hair is damp but not soaking wet. For updos, no need to shampoo before your appointment. Dry hair is best, and we recommend you wash it the day before your appointment to see the best results.
For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed and moisturized face prior to our artists’ arrival.
For manicures and pedicures (currently available in NYC & LA only), please have your nails free of any gel, shellac or other nail treatments.
Our beauty professionals will have products and tools with them, but please let them know if you have any allergies or specific concerns.
GLAMSQUAD loves your pets but some of our beauty professionals are allergic or scared. If you could please crate animals before we come, it would be optimum for the safety of our hair stylists. We ask that you have a place to sit near an electrical outlet and a flat surface so we can plug in our hairdryers and lay out our tools/products. It is very important that you are ready for your GLAMSQUAD appointment on time.
What if I want to modify my appointment to include an add-on such as lashes, spa services, Temptu airbrush, or Erno Laszlo eye patches?
No problem! You can modify your appointment at any time. After you have booked, go to the “My Appointment” section in the app where you can update your appointment to include any add-ons. If the appointment has already begun, you will see an “In Progress” section under your appointments where you can modify it to include any add-ons available.
What styles do you offer?
Please refer to our style menu for a variety of hair and makeup looks from which to choose.
If I don’t see the look on the menu, can I request something else?
Our menu is based on signature looks and is used as inspiration. Our hair stylists and makeup artists can customize any of the looks to complement your hair texture and face shape. For nails (currently available in NYC & LA only), all GLAMSQUAD manicurists carry a selection of essie polishes and CND Shellac® shades from which to choose.
What if I'm running late for my appointment?
Your beauty professional can wait for half of the scheduled appointment time, for example, if you booked a Makeup appointment, the artist can wait up to 30 minutes for you. Please note that the end time of your appointment remains the same and the beauty professional will do as much as they can for you in the allotted time. What if I can't book an appointment for my desired date & time?
All appointments are subject to availability. Our peak days of operation include Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s best to book in advance, and you can also check back for additional availability, if you’re unable to schedule an appointment for your desired date & time.
Can I book times that are not listed on the app?
We will always try our best to accommodate your request. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 844-695-4526 and we’ll see what we can do!
How do I pay?
You will be prompted to enter your credit card information when you book via the app or website. A 20% gratuity and service tax will be charged to your card for each appointment, so you don’t have to worry about a cash tip. If you would like to give an additional cash tip to your hair stylist or makeup artist, it is always welcome.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you have any changes in your schedule and need to cancel or change your appointment, you can do so via our iPhone app or by contacting our client experience team at email@example.com with your name, the time of the original appointment and the desired change, but please note our cancellation policy below. If you cancel within four hours, but at least one hour prior to your appointment time you will be charged 50% of the list price. Appointments canceled within one hour of the appointment time and no-shows will be charged the full list price for the services selected. All cancellations within 4 hours on services booked with packages or coupons will result in the loss of that appointment from the package or forfeiture of the coupon.

What is the Glamsquad Support Fee?
This fee is paid to Glamsquad to help maintain the Glamsquad platform and related services, including various operating costs and platform support measures such as Beauty Professional background checks and best-in-class client support. The Glamsquad Support Fee is not a gratuity or tip, and no portion of the fee will be distributed to Beauty Professionals who use the Glamsquad platform.
What if valet parking is the only option for my hotel or building?
Glamsquad Beauty Professionals will do their best to find free parking. If they are unable to, they reserve the right to charge you for valet parking, and will charge the fee to your room. In the event that the valet vendor does not allow room charges, our Client Experience team will be notified to add the valet charge to your final Glamsquad receipt. If you are able to provide a parking pass or other parking discount for the Beauty Pro, please notify our Client Experience team before your appointment.”
What products/tools do the beauty professionals carry with them?
Each hair stylist’s kit contains a blowdryer, flat iron, several curling irons and brushes of varying sizes and a selection of Kérastase products. Each makeup artist’s kit is curated to include an array of skincare and makeup products in order to create a variety of natural beauty looks. The artists carry brands that are considered industry standards, and our director of makeup reviews each artist’s kit to ensure it adheres to our standards of quality and cleanliness. The manicurists (currently servicing NYC & LA only) carry towels, acetone, cuticle softener and oil, sterilized implements, a disposable file and buffer, pedicure bowls, essie lotion, essie polishes and CND Shellac® polishes.
Can my artist add faux lashes during my makeup appointment?
Yes! Artists carry a variety of faux lashes ranging from natural to dramatic. For an additional $20, we will add faux one-time use lashes.
Can my hair stylist add hair extensions?
Yes! For an additional $20, we will add clip in extensions. Please alert us ahead of your appointment so we can account for the extra time it takes to style the extensions.

Do you offer any other services besides hair styling, makeup, and nails services?
Can I design my own nail art look?
Our nail art menu includes chic looks to choose from, and we don’t currently accommodate custom nail art designs. However, feel free to choose your own color combination within our selection of polishes and shellacs to create your desired look.
Can I choose more than one nail art look?
You can choose up to two looks and have one of the looks as a single accent nail on each hand. Your nail pro will only execute one accent nail per hand.
Is a French manicure considered nail art?
Our modern French manicure is called the French Fling, and it is considered nail art, so the same charge applies.
Can I get nail art on my toes?
Nail art does not apply to pedicure services. If this is something you are interested in having as a service, please add it to the notes section of your survey and you may see it on our menu soon!
Can I book a manicure and decide to add nail art on the spot?
Nail art must be booked in advance. However, you can always ask your nail pro to see if they can accommodate.
Can I get shellac nail art?
Yes! Nail art is bookable for both essie polish and CND Shellac®. However, essie colors and CND Shellac® colors are not identical, so the color options will be different. Colors may also vary by city.
Do you remove shellac & gel polish?
Yes, we remove shellac or soakable gel for an additional $10 which can be added onto any nail service. We are NOT able to remove acrylic or hard gel.
Do you do weddings?
Yes! GLAMSQUAD offers high-quality, professional hair, makeup and/or nails (currently available in NYC & LA only) services for brides and the bridal party. From the engagement photos, bridal shower and bachelorette party, to the rehearsal dinner and the big day, GLAMSQUAD‘s highly trained beauty professionals are there every step of the way to help you, your bridal party and guests look and feel beautiful. Can I buy this as a gift for someone?
Yes! You can purchase gift cards by going to the “E-Gift Card” section of the website. We sell gift certificates with the tax and tip included so the lucky recipient does not have to spend a dime!
Do you do large parties?
We do! We offer Hourly Appointments where we can spend 20 minutes per person doing dry styling, makeup touch ups and/or mani refreshers for large groups (bachelorettes, birthdays, etc) and corporate events.
You can book hair, makeup, nails or a combination! Dry styling includes curls, waves, straight hair, braids, ponytails, buns, and updos done on clean, dry hair. No noisy blowdryer necessary! The makeup touch up is a modified version of our full makeup application, working with your already existing makeup and refreshing a combination of the eyes, lips, and cheeks. The mani refresher includes filing, buff, polish and quick dry.
Each dry hair style, makeup touch up and/or mani refresher takes about 20 minutes, so we can accommodate 3 women per hour, per hair stylist/makeup artist/manicurist. If I am at the office do I still need to have wet hair for a blowout?
No. While wet hair is recommended, it is not required to get a style—we are happy to do dry styling. Our hair stylists also come equipped with spray bottles and can accommodate a wet-to-dry blowout in the office.
I had a problem with my service, who do I contact?
Who are the beauty professionals coming to my home/office?
All hand-picked and incredibly talented, GLAMSQUAD’s hair stylists, makeup artists and manicurists (currently available in NYC & LA only) are required to have years of professional experience. Each qualified applicant is deeply background checked and goes through a rigorous character assessment before joining the team. To date, the company has received over 1,500 applicants with less than 1/8 making it through. Once selected as a member, each stylist, artist and manicurist (currently available in NYC & LA only) is put through a rigorous 40-hour assessment program executed by our senior creative team, which is comprised of industry professionals who have had long careers in their respective fields and have managed, trained, and mentored hundreds of stylists, artists and manicurists.
Can I choose my beauty professional?
Given that we are an on-demand service, we cannot promise a certain beauty professional. However, we pride ourselves on our careful assessment process to guarantee satisfaction and consistency with every member of our GLAMSQUAD team.
Why purchase a package?
GLAMSQUAD isn’t just for special occasions. Packages are a great way to save money on a blowout that typically costs $50 + tax & gratuity for those who want to make looking and feeling great a regular part of their routine each month. You can also gift packages to someone.
What happens when I purchase a package?
You will receive an email confirmation once you’ve successfully purchased a package. Your package credits will automatically be added to your account and applied upon booking.
When/how are tax and gratuity charged?
Tax and gratuity are charged upon purchase of your package. No need to have cash on hand at your appointment!
When does my package expire?
Our packages do not expire and can be used at any time.
Can I cancel any unused portion of my package and get a refund for the balance?
All packages are non-refundable.
How do I know how many package credits I have left?

Can I give my package or part of my package as a gift?
Yes, you can gift packages to other people. Simply select the ‘Gift to Someone Else’ option and follow the prompts.
